I had a Telkom ADSL phone line installed at my residence about a year ago. During last year I experienced problems with the line. It is noisy during phone calls and there is no internet connection. The problem was only fixed after I complained to the ICASA ombudsman. Since December 2011 I have problems again with my telephone line. The line is very noisy and I do not have internet connection. I have reported rthe fault almost on a daily basis. The feedback from Telkom is only by SMS, and keeps stating that either the problem is fixed, which is not the case, or that the problem is in hand with their technical department. My wife used to run a mail order business from home but had to close it due to the fact that we can not send or receive any e-mails. I have again reported my problem to ICASA, but did not get any feedback yet, and my Telkom line is still faulty. |
