At the start of January I signed up for and ADSL package with Telkom which includes a free router and an 8ta 3G cards forms part of the deal. After 2 weeks the line was eventually installed though techie did not have a router, though he went to the trouble of getting one a while later. I registered the whole setup and configured the router as per the included CD. Everything worked fine on the 20th Jan for about 18hrs or so, and then just quit. Subsequently I have been logging calls ad nausea-um making reference to the ref no I received on the first attempt, but nothing has been forthcoming. Apparently everyone in the tech. dept. has long died off. Now tired of trying and want to just set fire to the **** equipment lying around here useless. Made a complaint at a telkom shop, lady claims I am not registered and dont have a phone line installed!! I nominate Hellkom as the worst service provider in RSA, anyone disagree? |
