Service Slow, staff ignorant & basics not covered

When my wife and I take a break from gambling on the slots at GWC we want a short break with good service and good food.
The food is generally fine but the service is ALWAYS incredibly slow, with the waitresses drifting around at their own ultra-slow pace. From seating to drinks order, to meal order, to billing - everything takes far too long.
Coffee takes 10 minutes to deliver and food generally takes 45 minutes to ge to the table - even specials.
And don't ask them any details about the meals - they don't know. The January 12 special is garlic prawns on a bed of rice - don't ask how many prawns there are or if it comes with a salad (5 and No by the way).
Despite completing numerous "Feedback" cards over the last 10 years, really nothing improves.
Is it a training issue? I don't know but they should start each shift by checking the salt and pepper shakers have salt and pepper in them; and why are there not enough condiment trays to cover every table - they are always "borowing" from customers who have.
I would have thought this would be a great concern to the management of GWC as the longer we are not gambling while we wait for service the less money they make.

Quite Impressed: I got a very friendly call back from GWC senior management who committed to making the necessary changes alongside the ones he is currently putting in place. It sounds like things will change so I will keep an eye on the situation over the next couple of months and see if intent get converted to fact.
