I brought a lovely AEG Iron from Stax, but there was a plastic film at the bottom of the Iron plate that I didn't know about. I whipped out my Iron to use for the first time, and the plastic naturally melted underneath the iron, ruining the plate. No huge 'Warning or Achtung' signs to warn the first time user of the iron to remove it. This is not any fault of Stax... To cut a long story short, Prince exchanged the iron for me and saved the day :-) I just had to release my domestic worker because I can't afford to keep her on, and the thought of having to buy a new iron all over again made me depressed because the purpose of buying one in the first place was to iron myself to save costs. Thanks, Prince! Once again, great service from Stax - the best appliance store :-) |
