It has all happened to us once before - BUYERS REGRET. Last year, being 8 months pregnant, and having lost my mind, I decided we needed a new home theater system. The DVD series we were watching at the time was continually freezing. Despite much cleaning and persistence, with no visible scratches evident, it refused to pay. After purchasing a new system from Alister, who was both helpful and friendly, I returned home only to find out that the DVD would not pay on the new system either. I painstakingly packed up the new system and returned to the store. I was not treated like the silly person i was, I was treated well despite the trouble i caused. Alister checked the packing - complimented me on the great job i did, and that was that. So taken aback by the service I received, I returned only to ask if I had cost Alister commission from my sale, he did tell me that he would have lost some money. When I pressured him to tell me how much he said it was about R100. So, I offered to pay it directly to him, but he refused, said it was against policy. I find that incredible....I would have been none the wiser if he had taken me up my offer. Thanks for your star service! |
