THE INCIDENT

One of the many wonderful things about the Jan Smuts branch of Standard Bank is not only good coffee, but the way in which staff will go out of their way to accommodate one.
Sylvia, at account support, is one of these fantastic contact people at Standard Bank.
Firstly, when I call, Sylvia knows immediately whom I am, and I am sure that she deals with many clients.
Secondly, I can ALWAYS have my problem or query sorted out telephonically, as I seldom have time to go into a branch.
This week was one of those weeks where I had to get things done, regarding an investment account, money transfer etc -
Needless to say, the same stunning service, with all the right advice, a quick explanation on how the system works when I didn't know which option to select - etc.
To summarise, I am a VERY HAPPY client, once again.
As many, I'm sure, I usually fail to write a compliment, but today I just had to share my delight with Sylvia's very high level of service, excellent product knowledge, accessibility, and the list goes on -
Just to mention also that my entire family (FORTUNATELY) are Standard Bankers, and between us, among other accounts, there are also 3 business accounts.
