All for unsecure internet banking

On installing a new Windows system, I wanted to get the standard offered Anti virus software from my Standard Bank account. This has been offered by Standard Bank almost from the start of Internet Banking. I couldn't find the link and phoned the call centre. I was told The service has been discontinued. On trying to open a complaint about it, the operator informed me that this was a decided by the Bank and nothing would change about it.

Now, my complaint: Standard Bank carries on and on about safer banking. This formed part of the Internet Banking fee charged and now they just discontinued a value added product. I saw no change (reduction) in my banking fees!

It's like a bakering saying: Sorry for you, we don't use yeast in our breads anymore - injoy your flap jack!

Very unhappy especially about the fact that I as a customer are not allowed to complain about it.
