| I have a vehicle finance agreement with Standard Bank since June 2007. Standard Bank has not updated my account payment history with the credit bureaus for the past 23 months. Despite numerous calls and a chain of emails requesting various people to do so, nothing has happened. I even went to their head office in Simmons street, JHB to make a personal appeal but was told to lay a complaint. I duly did so on 9 Jan 2012 and got acknowledgement but nothing has been done to date. This is affecting my credit profile and my ability to raise credit. The bank expects me to meet my payment obligations while they can treat a customer as they deem fit. It seems the staff at vehicle and asset finance are accountable to no one as their disregard to my simple request shows. I have copies of the email communication to various people that I'm shunted to if requested as proof. | |||

| Indifferent: Thank you for resolving this issue after I spent hundreds of Rand's to do so. Standard Bank needs to seriously improve on the services provided to customers. The call centre service is totally ineffective and a restructure is long overdue. | |||
