no notification of a double debit

in december i had an unapaid debit order on my homeloan acc,i then called standard bank homeloans to make an arrangement to pay off that particular debit order,this morning i got an sms with an amount from homeloans which is double the amount they debited,i now believe my acc is up to date,i am requesting for the the amount of R1000.00 which i have done on 22/01/12 via eft to be refunded to my bank acc.i have tried calling the call centre.
