I went into the bank on Saturday the 14 Jan (East Rand Mall). I request that my cheque account be closed. I then opened up a new saving account. I also put in a request that the money i have in my cheque account be transferred to the saving account. I then put notice on the remaining funds in my 32 day account. FIRSTLY i am stiling getting notification from my cheque account which means that it was not closed. SECONDLY. The money that is in my savings account I can not excess as it is reflecting but not available.(WHEN I WAS ADVISED ON SATURDAY THAT THE MONEY WILL BE AVAILABLE BY SUNDAY FOR ME TO BE ABLE TO DRAW. I am really disappointed about the service I have been getting from standard bank in the last two months. IT IS POOR AND UNPROFESSIONAL ESPECIAL FORM A BANK THAT I HAVE BEEN BANKING WITH SINCE 2009. I have had complaint after complaint. being 8months pregnant i don't enjoying going into the bank every time there is problem regarding me accounts. Banking with standard bank has become an unpleasant experience
