Account Closed And Still Taking Money

I had recently closed my Savings account (ContractSaver) with standard bank, but today they decided that they will debit my account with R200.00 for the ContractSaver account that was closed.

The money that was in my account was for another accounts Debit order, so then Standard Bank took my money so i was Charged for a debit order fee and for the SMS notification, the debit order that was supposed to come off was now returned because i have insufficient funds, so i did a reversal of the debit order and i was charged for that as well.

Because of their stupidness I am out of R10.00 it is not about the money it is about the principal I want the refund and when they refund me i want the R2.45 charge that i will accrue for the money transfer. they would never had to refund me if they did their job properly and cancelled the debit order, the problem does not ****with the Branch it is with Head Office.

I want the refund and a reimbursement for the transfer fee as well.

Quite Impressed: I would like to thank Pragasen Pillay, But i would also like to thank all the girls in Standard Bank Caledon for their outstanding work that they did to help resolve this issue. thank you to everyone for their help.

I would also like to go on record and say the following: As a programmer I feel that the IT department needs to create a procedure that allows for when a client removes or cancels the ContractSaver all the VAS is removed from it as well and then problems like this will not occur.
