I stayed in South Point Pretoria (Kincora) last year and vacated end of November. We were told deposits would be paid out by end of December them we got a text that there was an error with the system and deposits would be pad by 13 January! Then when deposits were not paid out by then and we (my friends and I) made enquiries we were told that we didn't evacuate properly! We thought it was only us only to find out that NO ONE had gotten their deposit paid out. So obviously this was just a story with no basis. We filled in the 'evacuation forms' to 'vacate properly' and were told the deposit would be paid out in 7 days time. the 7days ended on the 31Jan and we still don't have our deposits. I was then referred to the head office by the Pta offfice. I have been calling the head office in Jhb for the past two weeks and every week I am told a different person deals with the deposits (only ONE person by the way). The people in the call centre know NOTHING! I have left me details countless times with the hope of being called back and yet still no call back!This is becoming frustrating as I am unable to move to a new apartment as I need my deposit! |
