| In 2008 when i was a student at the Vaal University of Technology, licence inspectors were checking each room for tv licences. when they found a tv in my room they requested a tv licence and i told them that my brother had the tv licence with him. When i tried to explain that the tv did not belong to me and my brother was paying the tv licence for that tv then they told me that whenever the tv is out of the premises of the tv licence holder, i should be reliable for that tv and they also told me that i had two choices, its either they confiscate the tv or i register for a tv licence immediately with them as they had an electronic device which registers you. I gave them my ID number as i was frightened to loose my brother's tv, that is how my account was created. Recently i've been getting sms's and calls that i owe the tv licence of which i had never bought a tv before in my life and i'm unemployed. | |||
