On 31/12/2011 at 21:47 I paid the amount of R 250.00 on the SABC TV License website with my credit card. I received an SMS from my bank confirming the payment. As I was on holiday I did not have a printer with me so I did not print the payment and as it was made with a credit card directly on their website, I did not deem it necessary to print the proof of payment. Now they claim it has not been paid. I have sent them a confirmation from my bank together with my credit card statement and they still request proof of payment? Seriously? And to top it all off, they have added penalties because of "Late or non-payment". The TV license was due on 31/12/2011 and on which date it was paid. My bank can confirm it. |
