I recently sold my tv set due to me not really watching any tv and wanting to save some money - so I assumed the whole process of cancelling my tv license would go smoothly - I was sorely mistaken. I've been trying to cancel the license since december 2011, and today I received another email asking me to get an affidavit? I'm still getting all the sms' saying I will be summoned soon for the R250 in arrears, I will never buy a tv set again and I fully understand why people don't pay theirs (coz clearly being honest gets you nowhere!) Seriously - I don't own a tv, therefore I don't pay tv license ... should be a pretty simple concept to grasp! |
