I setup a booking on the SAA Website from JHB to PE. I called SAA Voyager to confirm that the ticket I was about to book would be elligable for a Companion Ticket. This was confirmed and I booked and paid for the ticket R910.00. I called Voyager back after 10 minutes to book the companion ticket to be told that there wasn't a ticket available in that class. I spoke to the manager who advised me to call reservations and upgrade to a different class. I called reservations who informed me that the change of class would cost me R1300.00. I then requested to have the ticket cancelled. SAA infored me that I had purchased a non refundable ticket. I feel I have been ******* and would advise all Voyager members to be wary of this unethical way of doing business. SAA does not offer a reward program but a very clever **** to entice you to use the airline, but when you attempt to use the awards, there are no seats available. |
