On numerous occasions I have tried to book seats on Voyager using my miles. Each attempt is a 2 month drama before I finally get someone that knows whats going on. Recently I called SAA again to try and book seats to Denpassar, Bali. in a whole 1 month span (not even in peak time) there are NO SEATS available.. How is this possible that not one of their star alliance partners has one seat available in 1 whole month! Also the amount of miles the consultant told me was required differed totally from the amount that the website states! Eventually I figured out that she "thought" Denpassar was located in INDIA! (whereas it is located in Indonesia) I called back literrally 5 minutes later, and suddenly the next consultant could find me seats on 4 different days! I get the impression that most people sitting in that call centre has no clue what they are doing and not even checking availability.. they are just saying there are no seats to get you to give up. It doesn't surprise me that SAA is not responding to 1 of the negative comments on this site. They just dont CARE about their customers. They are a greedy, terrible, unethical, pathetic airline!!! |
