| On 2 seperate trips to London from Johannesburg and returning from London to Johannesburg, the service we were given was terrible. The black airhostess were very arrogant, never smiled, very unfriendly and very unhelpful. on all occasions we had issues with the vegetarian meals ordered. Upon booking the tickets i had confirmed the vegetarian meals. I had called the call centre 2 other times prior to the flight to confirm the meals as well. On the occasions when a veg meal was provided, the food was terrible. SAA should look at the meals given on other airlines such as Emirates/ Singapore Airlines/Air Mauritius and should provide meals of that quality. Nevertheless, they did not have sufficient vegetarian meals for us and we had requested at least a meal from business class but they did not have so we were given a dry breadroll and butter. This is unacceptable especially when paying such high airfares. This happened on 2 occasions. Also once when sleeping the airhostess knocked me in the knee really hard with the trolley as it was bruised and extremely sore.Airhostesses are required to be helpful, friendly and patient.
