| We had gutters installed by SAGutter in March 2004. After heavy rains in January 2011 I noticed that the 8 meter gutter at the front of the house was sagging and retaining water in the middle. I contacted Sonya at SAGutter on 18th January and asked her to arrange an additional downpipe be installed in the middle of the gutter. Nothing happened. On 14th March I again spoke to Sonya who promised to email me a quote of R350 to install the additional downpipe. Again, no email . I finally got hold of a Martinus on the cell number given to me by the receptionist. He was out of town but promised to send a maintenance team around when they are in the area. He was very distrusting and accused me of not cleaning the gutters. I confirmed the gutters were cleaned regularly. Further calls got the same response. They also denied any knowledge of my original calls. I am still waiting and will never trust SAGutters 10 year guarantee. It is fiction. The gutter continues to sag and some of the downpipes are showing signs of breaking away from the gutters. | |||

Hello pturn, Dear Peter Turner' You have to get the facts right first. You are addressing the wrong company. SA Gutter consists of two completely different entities. You have spoken to Sanja and Marthinus (he is the owner of the other SAgutter) and he would also be responsible for attending to your complaint. You obviously did not know that and since you have never spoken to me or any of my staff (Sanja was employed at their offices) I will really appreciate you removing this derogatory remark from helopeter.we do not have anything in common with one another except the name. I use the Gauteng East portion for the specific distinction. I am sure that the other SA Gutter would never willfully damage the company name or deny a client a valid service call. As I said, Sanja used to work at their offices and information could be lost. I do not know this situation. Please contact them or me, my details are on my website. Kind Regards, Dawid Pretorius. |
