| I had a confirmed booking for Flight SA1501 set to depart for George at 06:50 From JHB. I arrived at O.R at 06:03. I wrapped my check-in luggage and then admittedly went to the wrong counter! I was informed to go to the correct counter. Time 06:15, the queue at the new counter was long, I asked for assistance and was informed that I must speak to the consultant at the check-in counter 06:21, check-in person says I must stand in line I will be called. 06:30 sorry sir the flight is closed and full. I paid a penalty of R467 to change my ticket. Fly SA website says check-in closes 30 min prior to departure. Gloria and her staff are rude, incompetent and don't know their own rules and regulations. I get made to feel like a criminal. I'm the customer; I paid in full and have confirmation. Sort out your queuing system; sort out your communication channels. Treat your paying customers with the proper respect. Your customers are the ambassadors for your brand. No sincere apologies or heartfelt assistance. Empty words. Gloria blindly defends her stance but offers zero solution! I was your customer... | |||
