I was booked on flight SA 1083 from Cape Town to Bloemfontein on 15 September 2011 at 17.30. The flight was delayed until 19.00 and than further delayed until we finally depart at 21.00. During this whole process the airline representatives did not properly communicated with the frustrating passengers about the problems and the real reasons of the delay. I finally arrived in Bloemfontein at about 22.30 miissed out on all my appointments. The next evening (16 September 2011) I was booked on flight SA 1014 at 18.25 from Bloemfontein to Johannesburg and was amazed to found out that my flight was again delayed until 19.00. While flying and reached our altitude a cabin steward made an anouncement that due to the short flight time no bar service will be allowed! I checked our flying time and according to me that was ******** (flying time still approximately 55 minutes). I experienced in 2 days bad delays in flight times from SA Express!! The question is: - " is there a huge problem in the maintenance and repair of the aircraft??" - why did the stewards not deliver a bar service on flight SA 1014 (did they want to save money for SA Express?) |
