Was told by the salesman that the car will be taken to a Kia dealer to fix malfunctioning reverse sensors. Seemed to work when I collected the car... Next day same problem. I took the car to Kia myself and found that the sensors were badly damaged and GLUED back into place. One was even kept in place by a cloth or sponge... It's R6,000 to replace the sensors - no wonder they lied. |

Hello MarioM187, I must disagree with you on you above statement. This vehicle was taken to Kia East Rand on the 9 of November 2011 for the repairs to the PDC as agreed. The Job Number from Kia is 14V81482 and the service advisor from KIA is Annelize. As per their invoice that i have a copy off ,the work carried out was for the renewal of the pdc sensor. I will scan and email the invoice directly to yourselve. We pride ourselves in offering the highest standard of customer satisfaction and therefore we will not make a commitment and not keep to it. Please feel free to contact me. Thanks Ivan |

Indifferent:
Thank you for the response Ivan. I remain of the opinion that the ‘repairs’ were done because of the high cost of replacing the sensors. The fact remains that the poor work done on the car did not fix the problem and it ultimately remains Raceview’s responsibility to ensure that the customer’s problem gets sorted, regardless of the supplier used. Surely checks must be in place to ensure the quality of the work. |
