As Discovery members we try and purchase our food at Pic 'n Pay, but after the latest abuse we are prepared to drive past two Pick 'n Pay's to go to any other store to buy food. Over Christmas my wife tried to redeem the points on her Smart Shopper card as part of a transaction. She was then told that her credit card does not work due to a speed-point issue and that they will put the points back on the Smart Shopper card. After 5 visits to the manager this still did not happen. In another incident she tried to buy food but all the shelves were empty. When enquiring why they do not fill up the shelves they indicated that they will be having a stock-count in two days and do not want to count full shelves. My wife asked them what they expect her to do and the comment was "go to Checkers". That was the best advice we ever received! |
