EXPIRED SANDWICHES ON SHELVES

On my way to a customer I stopped to buy lunch at Pick n Pay Melkbos. I bought a Yogi Sip and their 3 cheese sub. On returning to my car to eat quick, I got an awful smell from the product when I opened the packaging. THERE WAS MOULD EVERYWHERE! I had to then go back and speak to the manager who said "we do not make it, it's from the DC". I then spoke to the Deli Manager/Head Chef who said the same thing. Their were only 3 left, of which I bought one. The other one was also mouldy, and the 3rd EXPIRED YESTERDAY! When I brought this to her attention she picked it up and threw it out the fridge and said " this should have been taken off yestersy". My point is, WHAT IS THAT EVEN DOING ON THE SHELF! Also, do they now take it for granted that because it contains a sell by date that the food/stock does not have to be checked anymore?? Someone is not doing their job. I was refunded for both products as I did not want any of their stuff. On returning home I realized Pick n Pay carries a "Double Your Money Back Guarentee"

Is Pick n Pay taking advantage of customers who do not insist or even know about the guarentee?

DISHONESTY ????

I want every cent of the "double my money"!

Quite Impressed: I have been contacted by Pick n Pay Melkbos and Pick n Pay Head Office about this complaint.
Pick n Pay Melkbos wanted me to fetch my money but I do not stay in Melbos, they then made arrangements to come out and deliver a Voucher to my door. I'm glad that they were so effiecient in dealing with this.

I'm satisfied with the way it was dealt with and the contact I recieved from Pick n Pay Melkbos and Head Office.

Thanks Plattekloof for delivering the voucher, it's really appreciated!
