| On Sunday the 5th of February 2012 my family and I went to pick n Pay TopSpot(Moteti). The butchery is filthy and it stinks, meat is turning green. We approached the store manager to express our unhappiness. He told us that when meats changes colour (green) its at a stage they call ripe. Well that area being a rural area, he said that the people(community) buy the meat as is and they don't mind. He said we cant compare Pick n Pay there with Pick n Pay in Joburg because they are in a rural area. What about the health of the people. He went on to say there is a smell because the Septic tank is full, how disgusting. Pick n Pay is well known and respectable however that branch is tarnishing the reputation. I have already contacted head office and I was told they will be in touch. The aim of this is not meant to hinder the branch but to give them a wake up call. Most consumers in that area don't know their rights as loyal buying customers. After I complaint half the store said finally someone says something. As we were leaving he had a chat with the butcher, not sure what he said but it looked unpleasant. Service people with respect and they will remain healthy and provide more business. | |||
