Returns policy

I bought a top a the local Pick & Pay Clothing Store and paid with my debit card. I returned the top the next day and wanted credit for it. The lady ask for my Credit Card to pay the amount back. On my question what if I did not have a credit card she told me to take a voucher then and spend it at the Pick & Pay grocery store or at the Pick & Pay clothing store at a later stage. I feel they bully you to spend the money only at Pick & Pay. I wanted my money back to spend at a different clothing store. If that is the return policy I will not buy clothes there anymore. The amount was R70,00.
