| On the 27/12/2011 i saw on the bulk lamb packs the pricing of R59.99/kg , as the meat was not cut nicely i asked the butcher if he could cut up some to my likeing and check if the price was correct which he confirmed it was - to my shock the price had jumped up to R83 odd per kg when i pointed out that the pricing was R59.99 i was told that prices had gone up but they weren't informed - i asked them to check on this as NOWHERE did it show that prices had increased and the lamb packs were marked at R59.99/kg while the " manager " went to phone Jakes about this the woman who packed my meat went and removed the packs on the shelf - I was told Jakes said nothing he can do special had ended Saturday the 24/12/2011- i went to front desk and they phoned him he told me when i said i would be taking this further " you can complain to head office doesn't matter they will just come back to me " - Then i get asked by the woman who packed the meat " DO YOU WANT IT OR NOT " if this is the way they want to treat me as a customer they can shove their center , | |||

| Over the Moon: Within 24 hrs i had a phone call from pick n pay apologising and went to see store manager today who was most apologetic even got staff to come apologise - was very impressed when the staff asked me to please come back as i was a valued customer - plus i got my lamb-pack - all in all i can definitely say i will be back shopping here - thank you to everyone who took the effort to respond and assist | |||
