What Momentum Health did not tell you!!!

What a joke - in my opinion - are these just for profit medical aid schemes.
If you contribute R 50 400.00 per annum that is R 4 200.00 per month - for a family of two - Momentum will only allow R600 per year at the optometrist.
The reality is the optometrists consultation will be R380 and I wonder what we can buy for the balance of R240?
What they also do not tell us:
What proportion of claims do they reject? For example they rejected 75% of my optometrist claim.
What proportion of contributions is actually paid in claims?
What administration fee is Momentum charging per member per month?
How much does Momentum pay their directors?
How much profit is Momentum health making per member per year?
Momentum created their own conflict of interest - If they a have a profit objective how can members benefits - expenses - be a priority to them?
I guess this complaint will not be answered, what definitely will happen is my contributions will be in their bank account at the end of the month.
Momentum - Stop wasting money on cycling and start looking after members benefits.

Hello NoBS,

Please note the following as per our telephone conversation this morning.

The scheme (PGG) design the benefits for their members and not Momentum Medical Scheme Administrators.
