Repudiated

My veranda ceiling collapsed. I called Outsurance. When the assessor arrived, I asked him for a business card, of which he had none. After inspection he informed me that he is going to repudiate the claim for the following reasons: There was no Peril, in other words, he could not find the cause of the damage (as there were no cracked tiles, no moved tiles) and his final reason was poor workmanship. This is definitely not poor workmanship as I have been living in this house for 8 year and people before me even longer, so it's actually good workmanship considering today's quality of workmanship. He didn't even look at the ceiling boards that are piled neatly in my garage. My conclusion is that Outsurance do not want to help you, only see where they can decline the claim. I have also heard that the assessors get commission for claims not being paid out - whether this is true, I don't know, but it certainly feels like it.

CUSTOMER'S FEEDBACK stuartr001 Time and Date 16:02:09 | Tue 28 Feb 12
Utterly Disgusted: Thank you Dinky for responding. I have just spoken with a Zinilia. An assessor came to do another inspection on 23 Feb 2012. He took photos of the ceiling, but Zinilia could not see anything in the photos as the ceiling boards are White. I still have the ceiling boards and I can show you that there is signs of water damage. I am still very unhappy that the claim is still repudiated. I don't believe you have your clients best interest at heart.
