| Recently I got engaged, when I contacted Outsurance with which I have been for numerous years, to add my ring to the jewelery cover I was refused cover as my policy "needs to heal first" (I was robbed recently and apparently the payment was more than the premiums I have paid, which did not allow Outsurance to add the ring. As there isn't a company which will insure only the ring, I said that I assume that they no longer want my business. The call was then put through a senior manager, who offered to compensate me by offering me a better premium on the car I would insure. We went through the quotation and the premium on car I was about to buy was R491. I was sent an email, confirming so and I was told that the quote will be valid for a year, I just needed to call back and let them know that I activate the cover. I had to wait until January for my car and when I called I was told that that offer is no longer valid. The premium for the same car is now R770 and they can no longer offer me the better deal and that manager has been moved to a different department. They still cannot insure the engagement ring.. | |||
