| I am a customer of Outsurance for the past +- 10 years. I have not had any motor vehicle claim until november 2011. My vehicle driven by my son was involved in an accident on a rainy day. The damages were large and my vehicle was towed to my panel beater. An investigating company was appointed and I was treated like a criminal. The investigators went around questioning unknown people, who saw us very seldom, and took their decision from their reports. When we asked them(the investigators) to show us footage or reports or to confirm the reports, they were not willing to do so. As a result these reports were submitted to Outsurance, who inturn took it as final and declined my claim. Nothing was paid for, not even my towing or storage charges. When I contacted Outsurance and questioned the claims manager about my claim being declined, I was told that, that was final and nothing would be done. After 10 years of supporting Outsurance, this is the outbonus you get and an awful service. All their advertising does not mean anything if there is no customer satisfaction. You need to have an incident to get to know Outsurance. I personally will not recommend Outsurance to anyone. DISAPPOINTED | |||

Hello singhlg, We are not being insensitive to the financial loss you have incurred as a result of the rejection of your claim at all. The rejection was based on material misrepresentation of regular driver. We were prejudiced by receiving the incorrect premium on the particular vehicle all along. Our claims manager, Cardo contacted you to acknowledge receipt of your complaint and also informed you that all future communication to you will be from the Ombudsman's office, as you already referred the matter to the Ombud.
