| I am a steadfast supporter of Outsurance since I joined. I have had a geyser claim and a window claim all done without any hassle or irritation. As a matter of fact, after my geyser installation they even sent my wife a gift, which is going the extra mile. I am intent on purchasing a vehicle and made an enquiry as to the price of insurance for the new vehicle today. Outsurance quoted me for the new vehicle ONLY (no home contents or building insurance) to be comprehensively insured R 1179.77 for replacement value of R159k. I did a comparison quote with another insurance company and they offered me comprehensive on vehicle, home contents (@R150k) and building (@R1.15m) with zero excess on vehicular claims for a total of R 1387.49. Outsurance cover for building is R 1.1m and contents cover is for R 115k. When I told the person at Outsurance giving me the quote that I intend on seeking comparisons and queried the high premium on the vehicle, I was fed a bunch of flawed appraisal jargon. My current vehicle replacement with Outsurance is unbeknownst to me, but should be around R35k (old car). Let's see Outsurance do the math on this one and let's see if their customer retention is alive? | |||

| Indifferent: Outsurance representatives contacted me and my current premium was slightly adjusted. I will ask them again once I have purchased my new vehicle to see how they compare with relation to benefits and costing. Will write a new report when that time comes... | |||
