after being a outsurance client for +-4 yrs i recently had to make my 1st claim for hail damage on both cars. the assesor said we had to go to northrand panelbeaters in sandton. Living in krugersdorp this was a problem but i was assured they would collect and deliver---did not happen. wegot the mazda back and there was still a dent in the one window beading---sorry not quoted for. Ok fine let it slide. got my 3mnth old IX35 back and at a glance hail damage was repaired very well. After washing it the following weekend to get all the polish residue off ,I notice the panoramic sunroof and and right sides windows full of silver overspray, possibly from respraying the rails on the roof, which seems a different silver anyway.On thursday 15 dec i had a elect problem and when i went to hyundai for assistance was very surprised when they popped the bonnet. There were no nuts and bolts on left side bracket and one very very loose one on right side, it nearly jumped off!!!! The brackets on the badly sprayed roof rails also seem very loose, and I pray they did not have to remove the wheels for panelbeating because ......you never know. Panelbeater put so much emphasis on excess payment!!! |
