I am insured with Outsurance and I had an accident last week Thursday. My car was towed to their warehouse while I sorted out paperwork and meeting the assessor. I called in last week to find out where my car was and where it would be sent to, I was told it was at the Outsurance warehouse in Midrand,Halfway House. The assessor then came out to see me on Wednesday and sent me details of a panel beater it was going to, I tried getting hold of this panel beater and the number that I was given was constantly engaged. I have not received any further communication about my car since and decided to call Outsurance today. I spoke to a consultant who had no communication with the assessor if the claim was confirmed from Wednesday and informed me that my car was going to a panel beater in area code 013 where as I live in Johannesburg, I complained about this because why is Outsurance sending my car away from Johannesburg to be fixed when I stay in Johannesburg! If I did not call today, my car would of been sent there and who knows when I would of gotten it back! VERY VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT THE SERVICE from Outsurance. Very Disappointing. |
