Recently my mother on a very short notice had to go overseas for a prolonged period of time and thus sell the vehicle, insured by Outsurance. She called me later, asking to cancel the policy on her behalf. I contacted Outsurance on the 26th of October, and they said they had to communicate with my mother directly. After several emails I was assured, that the policy was cancelled and everything was in order. However, my account was debited with the premium on the 1st of November. When I queried this, I was told, that Outsurance couldn't get hold of my mother, but everything has been settled now and they will refund the premium along with the bank charges that were incurred because of it. Not only have I never received the refund, but on the 1st of December the account was debited again. When contacting the company, I got exactly the same reply. Despite me leaving numerous messages for Ms. Pretorius, she never once returned my call and it was impossible to get hold of her after quoting the policy number. All I hear is "Everything has been sorted out, she will call you back in 10 minutes". Never happened. I am seriously considering changing my personal policy to another company |

I know you will also appreciate why we have these stringent procedures in place, as we need to protect our client's interests at all times. | Quite Impressed: The problem has finally been sorted out and the funds have been refunded on the 13th of December, without any additional communication except for the responce on HelloPeter. Hey, at least this website seems to work! )) | |||
