Another complaint of Outsurance. Last year my wife was involved in an accident, ie a woman didnt see the robot was red and drove into the back of my wife's car. 31 December 2011, R407.50 was debited off my account instead of the standard 327.40. I call Outsurance regarding this and the reason is that my wife's accident risk increased last year due to a claim we made. HOW DOES MY WIFE'S ACCIDENT RISK INCREASE DUE TO SOMEONE ELSE (NOTE SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!) DRIVING INTO THE BACK OF HER? Now I paid the excess (R3750) and this was claimed back from the other party, ie Outsurance didnt lose any money except for the LITTLE time invested in handling the case. We have been with Outsurance for 7years. Now let's do some basic math: 7 years = 84months, total minimum money paid to Outsurance = Average Payment (300) * 84 = 25500. This is not even linked to inflation. Therefore, they have made money off of us in the end. Just another way of abusing the little man. Let's see what Outsurance are going to do about this. NOTHING? Hmm, then you'll lose the monthly premium to a competitor, so instead of getting 25% more, you lose 100% |
