HEADLINE	No Service at Ocean Basket Durbanville
My girlfriend and I thought we"ll try out the newly opened Ocean Basket in the De Ville Centre in Durbanville. We were seated at around 7:40 pm by a very friendly hostess. Unfortunately, that was the last service we received from anybody. At around 8:00 pm my girlfriend suggested we leave and complain but seeing the restaurant fairly bussy I decided to stay for another ten minutes. Upon looking at the waiters, tables being cleaned next to us and seeing other patrons walking in and being served, I decided to leave at around 8:10 pm without even being asked if we would like a drink? Upon walking out I told the hostess, who clearly knew how long since she seated us, that we have not been served. Her reply was "really, nobody served you yet". My girlfriend went on to talk to the manager at the pay point who started making jokes about him being the manager. First and last time there and have posted my comments on farious social networks to friends. We thereafter went to the Glengary Ocean Basket where we received amazing service and hospitality. It only goes to show, your bussiness is only as good as your manager managing staff and their ability to be involved in the bussiness Add a new Ocean Basket Report Inappropriate report?
