Tried to have lunch at Ocean Basket Middelburg on 27 December 2011. Restaurant was almost empty (now know why). Waitress wasn't trained, could not understand anything, had to repeat our order at least four times, "manager" was much more interested in sitting in the smoking section playing/working/surfing on his laptop. Place was full of flies. When I requested doom or a fly swatter or something I was ignored with a click of the tongue and a frown. Food arrived late, and mine never arrived. I complained and the so called waitress informed me that the kitchen forgot and it was on its way. When the rest of the party almost finished eating the waitress once again informed me that mine was almost ready.
