| The first incident was when the waiter burned my girlfriends arm with the warm pan. Another was when the six prawns on my platter were burned black and seeing that it laid on the chips, the chips were black with the smell of burned coal. Everybody around the table complained about the chips that tasted like pre-heated chips and the fish that tasted like old frozen fish and a bland taste.Even the calamari heads that should be nice and crispy tasted like rubber.I asked the waiter if this was Ocean Basket's standard of food, showing her the prawns.She then told me I should throw the prawns into a separate plate for her so that she can take it to the kitchen.I then told her there is no way I will do it as she is the one that should take the pan back to the kitchen and serve me a proper meal. She came back and guess what; the prawn wasn't burned, but it was thrown on top of the clearly blackened, burned and distasteful chips.Again I called the waiter and asked if this was the proper way of dealing with your mistakes. She again returned the pan to the kitchen and gave me back a new pan, with the same cold fish, no garlic butter (as this was left in the previous pan) and pre-heated chips. | |||
