Hake - no salad!!!!!!

This afternoon I placed a take away order from Ocean Basket Newcastle. One of the orders was a grilled hake and salad dish. The takeways duly arrived and I went home, locked up my gates and settled down to supper - but the salad was missing. I phoned Ocean Basket Newcastle to advise them of this and the one of the supervisory staff said that I should come and fetch a salad from them. I asked him if it would be possible to deliver it to my house, to which he replied that they do not run a delivery service. I then questioned why their incompetence should inconvenience me - after all I had just paid R37 for a piece of hake!!! His reply was that he couldn't leave the restuarant, and he did not appear at all interested in solving the problem. I think this was a bad public relations exercise. It might only be a salad (which after all is made up of mainly lettuce!!!) but it was something that I had been charged for.
