Creditors not paid as stipulated in court order

I have being under debt review since August 2010. A debt consultant from Credit Matters drew up a fees schedule with my creditors and every month the NPDA deducted R2000.00 as agreed. Now in July 2011 a court order was granted but the repayment fees differed from the original agreement. I being under the impression that Credit Matters would give this new repayment schedule through to the NPDA so that the correct amounts can be paid over to my creditors are stipulated in court order. Now 3 months down the line I received a termination of debt review from ABSA Bank because a lesser amount was paid over by the NPDA and not that as order by the court. Who is supposed to have advised the NPDA about this new fees that was to be paid over - myself or Credit Matters. On feedback from ABSA I paid the shortfall but deiscovered to my horror that none of my creditors were paid as order on the court order. What am I to do or must Credit Matters be held responsible to sort out the problem.

Hello MNORMAN,

Dear Miss Norman

I investigated your case and I regret to inform you that your information was never updated with us by Credit Matters.
The NPDA deducts a monthly amount from your bank account as specified by the information fed into a computer system by Credit Matters, in your case R2000 and then distributes this again as per instruction received
Your deduction and distribution instructions were last updated by Credit matters on 28/10/2010 as indicated on the below screenshot taken from the system a clear indication that Credit matters did not update the information according to the Court Order. They did however increase your amount top R2100 but never completed updating your information by creating an updated payment plan based on the court order, therefore the instructions that we receive every month is still based on the original R2000
As you can see from our payment instruction report.
I have also included a Statement for your convenience of all funds received from you and distributed by the NPDA
Contact me if you need any more information.

Kind Regards

Amanda
