This morning I downloaded 67mb of the new Nokia Suit using the old installed Nokia Ovi Suit to access the software upgrades available. Having downloaded the new Nokia Suit I could not get it to install and in the interim the download erased my whole PREVIOUSLY installed Nokia Ovi-suit. The software upgrades for the N8 were not accessible on the internet despite the cell phone prompting you to "download upgrades" . I contacted the Nokia care at Vodaworld Midrand yesterday as well as Vodacare Fourways Mall and was informed that there have been problems with the Nokia software upgrade internet site since December 2011. I then contacted Nokia customer care - absolute disaster - unhelpful - no expertise. I asked the gentleman to log a complaint or provide a physical address or contact telephone No. of Nokia SA in JHB, he would not give this to me. The Nokia software upgrade site does not work properly as verified by 3 shops including the Nokia centre - one cannot reach anyone to lay a complaint - - the customer care have no expertise and are unable to provide a solution - and you can't get the address or phone number of Nokia head office in SA. Stay away from Nokia. |
