| HEADLINE | LAST NOKIA PRODUCT I EVER BUY |
||
| I received a Nokia Navigator on contract with MTN about a year ago. Soon afterwards it started giving trouble - keypad sticking and static so bad I could hear nothing on the phone. I took it back and it came back 'repaired'. While the keypad was a bit better, the static continued. I sent it back again and again got it back 'repaired'. Again it was not. I went back to MTN to get a replacement and was told I had to go to Nokia. Why? I don't know. My contract is with MTN. As far as I am concerned, MTN must deal with Nokia. Not me. I have been to various shops and have yet to find the nearest Nokia agent in our area that is prepared to help. Apparently there is one in Zambezi Road. When we went there it was closed. I have tried to e-mail Nokia but with no response. It would seem as if this is standard practice with Nokia. Poor after sales service. I am sure their head office will not be happy with this seeing they apply European standards and not the couldn't care less attitude we get in this country. I am not satisfied with the service I received from both MTN and Nokia. Be assured this is the last Nokia product I ever purchase. I probably will not renew with MTN either. | |||
