| On the 23 December I went for a game drive with hubby's Nissan Hard Body between Letaba and Phalaborwa while he stayed behind at camp. Suddenly the vehicle lost power. I made it ot Phalaborwa Nissan, but being the Friday before the Xmas weekend the shop was closed already. Pieter came from the back and (on hubbies suggestion per telephone) made sure the connection to the red box (some power enhancing chip) was fine. Pieter and (I think) Hannes checked everything and the bakkie had power again. I drove back into the Park and about 10 km from the gate the same thing happened. Pieter gave me his cell number and I phoned him to ask if I can come back. He responded "no problem". By the time I got back to Nissan he had already phoned someone re this chip and was advised to disconnect it. To make a long story short the bakkie still had no power and the young man called Hannes (?) kept fiddeling and tried numerous things till he got the bakkie to have power again. And the best of all, he did this with a smile on his face and a very polite attitude even though it was getting late. I am SO greatful for their help and fantastic customer service to a lady in distress. Thanks, thanks, thanks!!! | |||
