Will never buy a Nissan again !!!!

I bought my wife her first NEW car in Jul 2009, Quashqai. Shortly after the 30k km service we had to replace the battery ??? Then she went on a 3km dirt road and a heat shield from the petrol tank came loose and got damaged and we have to replace now at own cost. Car went in 2 weeks ago for its 60k km service and ask them to adjust the clutch. We were told the clutch is hydraulic and not adjustable AND the clutch need to be replaced, R 7866 later !! I argued with the very unfriendly service staff at Automall East London only to hear from them that they have replaced a number of these clutches already. My wife had her Citi Golf for 200k km with no clutch replacement and this is a R 230k car ? Then we pointed out that the inside door latch cut my wife's finger due to chrome which is peeling off and the rubber on the inside door handle is also peeling which the workshop manager turned around and said "it's the hand cream you are using". Is that really how inferior the quality is of the Nissan products ? Shocking service as I need to check personally every time and then point out issues. The last service the car had a big scratch on the door which eventually got fixed. Never again !

Over the Moon: I must compliment Nissan SA with their quick response and daily feedback I am receiving. I am really impressed with your lady Lebo as she is an absolute asset to your company !
I just find it sad that my own local dealer Automall East London is not capable of this level of customer service and that I had to revert to their head office !
