| On the 3rd of june 2011 I went in for surgery, about a month later I receive a bill from the hospital saying I owe them about R2110.00 (can not remember the amount) then I phoned them and they told me that you (the scheme) only paid 75% of the bill because the surgery was not done at a netcare hospital. I then phoned you and you confirmed that to me that the full amount was not paid because the surgery was not done at a netcare hospital. I then informed you that I did not know about it I was not told nobody told me and that you will investigate the matter!! After you have pulled the voice logs and did your investigation I was informed that you are at fault you did not inform me and that you will settle the outstanding amount at the hospital, about a month later the hospital sent me a bill again for the same amount, once again a had to phone you to find out what is going on once again you confirmed that you will pay the outstanding amount at the hospital the next week because it takes a while to process an cheque!!! Now in January 2012 I receive a final demand from the hospital for that amount, once again I had to phone you people to sort out the mess, a query was | |||

Hello jacswanepoel, Further to our conversation; I just wanted confirm that I have contacted the hospital, and they have acknowledged that they did receive the difference in payment from Netcare Medical Scheme, last year on the 30th June 2011.
