Neotel My technologically clueless folks were assured they have coverage when they visited the local branch. They even called me, and I spoke to the consultant regarding coverage and my parents' Internet and landline needs. They then forked out precious money for nothing, as they have not been able to use the Internet at all. Their landline is also not working. They have been to Neotel to try to sort out the problem, they've contacted them several times, and they've even had our computer engineer friend out there to try to assist them, and he confirmed that there's no signal. He contacted Neotel to tell them his findings, and was assured someone would contact my folks. To date they've had no luck. They've paid for a modem, and the other fees associated, as well as the monthly bill. It really saddens me that there is no regard for the sector of our society that really needs it! They really don't know what to do at this point, as it seems they've reached an impasse. I think it's shocking when such companies treat pensioners with such disregard. I also think they ought to be refunded, and apologised to. |
