Bad service, bad attitude... and still waiting...

Neotel, I've had enough!

I've been struggling with super-super slow internet for the last 3 weeks. I phoned on Friday afternoon and a very friendly man named Kgomotso tried to assist me. He did something, asked me to restart my phone and whatever else and call back.

The problem didn't go away, so I called back. No one was available, so I left a message. No one phoned back. I phoned again later and left another message with someone. No one phoned back.

On Saturday I phoned again and spoke to a rather unpleasant lady with a terrible attitude. She said the internet is slow because of the area I stay in. I've been staying there for a year and had brilliant service. I've only started experiencing this slow internet in the last 3 weeks. So she said it's because a lot of people in my area have bought Neotel and now they're "********" my bandwidth. I should buy an aerial. She said she'd get management to phone me. I asked "when?". She assured me it would be on Monday. I laughed and rightly so, because it is now Wednesday and I've received no call.

I'm applying for an ADSL line. People warned be about Neotel, but I didn't listen. Stupid me!

Phone me back, or don't, whatever...

Quite Impressed: Aerial installed at Neotel's expense yesterday afternoon.  The signal and speed has improved significantly.  Thank you, Thebogo, for sorting this out for me!
