Help with missing money

On 4 August 2011 we paid an amount of R18418.75 from our current account to the Absa account of the city of Joburg. The City says this money is not in their ABSA account. (4054398463). They are not prepared to accept the elctronic statement or proof of payment. While my problem still exists the person behind the desk made a lot of effort. Perhaps someone who reads this can assist!
