I engaged in online sportsbetting, which is LEGAL according to the Gambling board of South Africa. However SARB and Nedbank (the credit card I used) insist that I fill in a form to deduct the amount from my annual exchange allowance. Nobody at Nedbank could tell me (or EVEN UNDERSTAND) why this had to be filled in. So I asked for the contact number or email address of someone at the SARB. I was phoned by Herbert Mufhadi, who also had NO IDEA what I was talking about. (Although he is Head: Nedbank Group Risk Services (Exchange Control Services)). I asked him to forward me the contact details of someone at the SARB. He said he would email it to me - that was on 23 Jan 2012. I emailed Rodney Meko (also at group risk) who said that Herbert hasn't responded because he has been in meetings. MEETINGS FROM 23 JAN TO NOW? Not even 5 minutes to send and email??? I'm sorry, this is pathetic - it is because of poor customer service that Nedbank is doing so poorly. I also logged a call LAST year (REF #: CCT-400357) to which I NEVER received feedback. Good thing I'm banking with FNB - you guys are terrible.

Utterly Disgusted: I still haven't received ANY feedback with regards to my credit card query.
